Fort Erie Meteors Forward Danny Adamo Selected for Prestigious St. Andrews MacPherson Hockey Tournament

Fort Erie, ON — A Fort Erie Meteors standout will be showcased on one of hockey’s premier stages this weekend.

Forward Danny Adamo has been selected to represent Team GOHL at the 2026 St. Andrews MacPherson Hockey Tournament in Aurora, Ontario, the league announced Thursday.

Adamo, Fort Erie’s 17-year-old leading goal scorer, earned the honour during his impressive season in which he has recorded 44 points (22 goals, 22 assists) in 35 games. The Fort Erie, Ontario native also competed in the GOHL Top Prospects Game earlier this month in Peterborough, further solidifying his status as one of the league’s top young talents.

Joining Adamo at the tournament will be Meteors Head Coach Nik Passero, who has been named Head Coach of Team GOHL for the event.

Team GOHL opens tournament play Friday morning against the Pittsburgh Jr. Penguins as they begin their pursuit of the MacPherson title.

The Fort Erie Meteors organization congratulates Danny on this well-deserved opportunity and wishes both Danny and Coach Passero the best of luck representing the GOHL on a prestigious stage.
