Fort Erie, Ontario — December 30th, 2025 — The Fort Erie Meteors announced today that the club has completed a trade with the Sarnia Legionnaires.
As part of the transaction, the Meteors acquire Gage Brandon, while the Legionnaires receive Liam Nickerson and a Player Development Fee.
Brandon, 17, appeared in 15 games this season with the Sherwood Park Crusaders(BCHL), recording 3 goals and 1 assist. The 2024-2025 season saw Brandon score 21 goals in the GOHL as a rookie for the Sarnia Legionnaires.
The Petrolia native was a third round draft choice of the Flint Firebirds in the 2024 OHL Priority Draft.
