[Fort Erie, ON – Jan 7, 2026] — Fort Erie Meteors are pleased to announce that the organization has acquired goaltender Rafael Tremblay in a trade with the Smiths Falls Bears of the CCHL.
Tremblay, 19, brings size, athleticism and a strong competitive edge to the crease. Standing 6 ft 3 in tall, the Laval, Quebec native has demonstrated the potential to be a reliable backstop at the junior level.
During the current 2025–26 season with the Smiths Falls Bears, Tremblay posted solid numbers and gained valuable experience against top competition in the CCHL. Over 12 appearances, he recorded a 3.35 goals-against average and an .886 save percentage.
