The Fort Erie Meteors are excited to announce the acquisition of forward Evan Nicholson from the Stouffville Spirit (OJHL).
Nicholson, a 4th-round pick of the Kitchener Rangers in the 2025 OHL Priority Selection, brings skill, speed, and strong offensive instincts to the Meteors lineup. The Sutton, Ontario native impressed last season with Don Mills U16 AAA, showing the pace and playmaking ability that made him a top OHL prospect.
“We’re thrilled to add Evan to our group,” said General Manager Nik Passero. “He plays the game the right way—high compete, high IQ—and he fits perfectly with how we want to play.”
Evan has played in 7 Ontario Hockey League games this season with the Rangers.
Nicholson will join the Meteors immediately as the team continues to strengthen its young core.
